Kaleji Curry کلیجی کا سالن

Kaleji Curry

Most of the peoples are fond of organ meat like Liver (Kalegi), Kidney (Gurda), Lungs (Phephrha) and Brain (Bheja) . This recipe is for those who love to eat Kaleji.


  •  Kaleji (Beef/Mutton) , cubes,  1 kg
  • Oil   one cup
  • Onion chopped 2-3 nos.
  • Ginger crushed   2 inch long piece
  • Garlic crushed one medium pod
  • Tomatoes chopped  2-3 nos.
  • Yoghurt  1/2 cup
  • Green Chillies chopped 8-10 nos.
  • Fresh Coriander leaves  a few for garnish
  • Spices: Salt to taste, Red Chilli powder to taste, Red Chilli Cutter 1 teaspoon, Haldi 1 teaspoon, Garam Masala powder  1 teaspoon, Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon


  • Fry onion in oil
  • Then add  Kaleji (Liver) , ginger, garlic, tomatoes, yoghurt, green chillies and spices.
  • Fry for 5-10 minutes.
  • Now add 2 glass water and cook on medium flame till Kaleji is tender and little gravy remain.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  • Delicious Kaleji curry is ready.
  • Serve with Naan/Roti
