Whole Chicken For Charga
Ingredients:
- Whole Chicken skinless 1
- Lemon juice 2 -3 teaspoon
- Ginger crushed 1 teaspoon
- Garlic crushed 1 teaspoon
- Red Chilli to taste
- Salt to taste
- Yellow Food Colour 1/8 teaspoon
- Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
- Ajwain powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Haldi 1/4 teaspoon
- Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil for deep frying 1 liter
Procedure:
- Thoroughly wash and dry the whole chicken.
- Make deep cuts on breast and drums.
- Now mix all spices, ginger, garlic , colour and lemon juice and make a paste.
- Apply this paste to the chicken and keep aside for marination for 3- 4 hours.
- Cook marinated chicken in steamer for 45-50 minutes.
- Then shallow fry in oil to a golden colour.
- Lahori Charga is ready.Serve with Roti/naan and Salad and Chutney/Raita.
